Both Joels and Joels Downtown are known for our talented, highly motivated, staff. Our stylists focus on giving each client a style complimenting his or her individual bone structure. Most recently, we were named the best salon in Arkansas by the readers of the Arkansas Times. Employing 26 people, we are one of the largest salons in the state. Also we are one of the few salons that still hires students out of cosmetology school for our apprentice program. This allows new stylists to be trained by Joel, as well as other senior stylist in the salon before being expected to build a clientele.
